I love taking “Me-time” for the hot oil treatments. I make my horsetail tea, then I  indulge in a long scalp massage. After applying the oil to my roots and dragging it down through my ends, I twist up my hair into a bun and wash my skin (hairline & neck) of any oil that may have dripped on it, as I find the heavy oil quickly clogs my pores and can cause a heat rash. After about 30 minutes to an hour of letting the oils sit on my hair, I rinse it out in the shower and am blessed with rich hair, free of split-ends!
