Misaky Tokyo makes vegan and gluten-free Japanese crystal candy from seaweed! Alissa, the founder, wants to “bring feelings of joy, comfort and inclusivity to the world” through her sweets, which is why she lovingly named her company ‘Misaky,’ a combination of the Japanese words for beautiful and future.

 Made from seaweed, these edible crystals are completely additive-free. It takes one week for the whole process to condense the flavors. Each piece of candy is made by hand without using any molds. The long process is well-worth the rich floral flavors and the crispy texture outside with the perfectly chewy inside! Despite the seaweed base, the flavors are sweet, not salty or fishy at all.
