Last Model FINspo Monday, we talked about matching and mirrored poses with a friend- today we’re switching things up with mixed partner poses!

As you can tell, I’m pretty biased towards having one fluke up while the other is down 😅- either hanging, sitting or outstretched.

I think this captures the most diversity of tail looks in one photo. An easy way to connect these two juxtaposing poses is to have the “flukes up” mermaid rest her head on the lap of the “sitting” mermaid for a dreamy fairytale look. I’ve shared a few different examples of this, my favorite camera angle being when both flukes are showing big & bold!
