Starting with the heavy hitters- this is by far my favorite ‘The Little Mermaid’ shirt I’ve ever seen! I can’t believe I found it on Amazon! Ariel is pictured crying her famous “But daddy I love him” line, drawn in a comic-like style, clearly paying homage to Roy Lichtenstein’s Crying Girl. (Yes, it’s the iconic art of a blonde girl in tears you’re thinking of). Maybe it’s the art nerd in me, or maybe it’s the fact that this dramatic line in the movie kinda makes me giggle, but I think this is a perfect Ariel shirt. 10/10.

Part of your World Ariel Splash Shirt

Everyone loves this iconic scene from The Little Mermaid Movie, when Ariel is perched on a rock, singing about being part of the human world, when the ocean joins her voice with a thunderous crash behind her that shoots water splashing all around her, that looks to be one of the most exhilarating mermaid experiences out there. Now slap that on a shirt with Flounder, Sebastian, and a couple of the singing fish from the ‘Under the Sea’ number, add a few hearts, and you got yourself a 5-star review from me, Amazon!!

This shirt is also ideal for the partner in the relationship who is not so into the “dress-up” scene. For <$25 on Amazon, I’d say that’d be a pretty cheap “closet cosplay” to have on hand! These shirts are perfect to get the whole family involved- I’m thinking Dad wearing the Sebastian shirt, kid wears Flounder and mom gets to wear any Ariel shirt, obvs!

Vintage is ALWAYS IN and these retro TLM shirts are no exception. I’m obsessed with The Little Mermaid movie cover art shirt because it has all the main characters, and pastels – duh! Both shirts are a total vibe.

THIS shirt is my forever mood. I love their expressions and how Flounder is totally nuzzled into Ariel’s mermaid hair. :3 The melting starfish are just *chef’s kiss*. This Little Mermaid shirt is definitely on my Amazon wishlist!

Get it? ’cause she’s like an octopus lady.. Anyway these shirts are better than my jokes. Vintage / Comic / Pop art – Disney’s thought of it all. And the execution is beautiful. Many of the designs even work in Ariel and Ursula’s eel minions, Flotsam and Jetsam. Honestly, I did not expect Amazon to have this many Ursula shirts, but Disney does their villains right!

Ariel’s Iconic Movie Moments Shirts

These shirts capture some of Ariel’s iconic scenes from Disney’s The Little Mermaid: Sitting on her rock illuminated by the moonrise, dancing under the sea, swimming up through her grotto to be part of that world, and singing into Ursula’s shell. All of these scenes are captured so cutely, with beautiful watercolors and a pastel color palette. Some scenes use more creative freedom than others, but all make beautiful t-shirts!

He’s so handsome when he dances! 😍  …oh and Prince Eric is here, too.. playing the “Snarfblat,” I believe is what the humans call it..? 😅  Anyway, the line art on this shirt is so darling, and the simple sketch design allows it match with practically anything. Let’s hear it for the boys!
