Growing up in South Florida, I used to vacation in the Keys most summers with my family when I was young.  Now (mostly) grown, I’ve revisited a handful of times to see historic landmarks and I even celebrated my bachelorette party there, so it’s definitely a special place to me! When Bridgette (the Treasure Coast Mermaid) and Brian (of Brian Storey Photography) invited me to go on a weekend road trip to Key West, I couldn’t say no! When your friends call and tell you to pack your tail, you do it!

One of the coolest parts about the Keys is that you can pull off to the side of the road and find a nice beach spot almost anywhere.
